Pre-Parade Introductions. main Street Stage. Attend the posting of the colors and the patriotic ceremony which opens the annual parade. We also introduce the grand marshal, mayor and other dignitaries.

Grand Parade. Rain or Shine. One of Indiana's largest parades forms at Lehigh Field, the parade moves West on Main Street to Seventh Street, North on Warren, West to Eight and ends at MHS. Grand Marshals Donna Sweigart and Betsy Mundy invite you to come out and watch the many special attractions in this year's parade.

Persimmon Festival Awards. Main Street Stage. Main Street Stage. The awards will include those for the Persimmon Pudding and Novelty Dessert Contest.

Rylie Nicole Brown. Main Street Stage. Brown is from Less Summit, Mo. She is 14 years old and sings pop, country and a variety of other songs. She will perform during the parade before she takes the Main Street Stage for her Persimmon Festival debut. More information on Brown, looking her up on Facebook and YouTube.

KROSS. Main Street Stage. KROSS was a popular Bedford corver band in the 1980s and includes members Steve Byers, Tom Barrett, Jay Wilson and Jerry Spradlin. For information, visit KROSS on Facebook. The band made its Persimmon Festival debut in 2010.


Charissa and the Auburn Sky Band is a country/southern rock show, fronted by 13-year-old Charissa Mrowka. The band has opened for and shared the stage with many country stars, such as Rodney Atkins, Gretchen Wilson, LeAnn Rimes, Chuck Wicks, and more. And the band will open for Phil Vassar this year.

    Charissa will also perform as a part of the 2010 parade.
